Our Team
Mr. Wagner has been President and Chief Operating Officer of Dedicated since 1988. Prior to that time, Mr. Wagner had been with Leaseway Transportation since 1965, starting as a dispatcher and, at the time of his departure was the Vice President of Operations in the Midwest Region. He is a member of the American Trucking Association, Ohio Trucking Association, Private Truck Council, Council of Logistics Management and the John Carroll Entrepreneurs Association.
Mr. McDermott was Senior Vice President since joining the Company in 1989, focusing on Sales and Marketing. He assumed the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in 2004 following the acquisition of Dedicated from its former parent company. Prior to joining Dedicated, he worked ten years at Leaseway and was Vice President of Sales. He is a member of the American Trucking Association, Council of Logistics Management, International Warehouse Logistics Association and the John Carroll Entrepreneurs Association.
Mr. Price has been the Chief Financial Officer since joining the Company in 2006. He started his career in public accounting with Touche Ross & Company. In 1981 he was hired by Leaseway Transportation where he held numerous finance roles in Internal Audit, Mergers & Acquisitions, and Strategic Planning & Operations Analysis. In 1995, following Leaseway’s acquisition by Penske Truck Leasing, Mr. Price held senior financial management roles at Penske Logistics in New Business Pricing, Accounting and Engineering & Technology. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of CPA’s and holds a Masters of Business Administration from Kent State University and a Bachelor’s of Science in Accounting from Akron University.
Mr. Jarus joined the Company in 1995 as Director of Operations. Prior to Dedicated he was a terminal manager for Leaseway from 1985 to 1995 and a sales representative for F & S Distributors and Follet Library Book Company. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Classics from Xavier University.
Mr. Connolly has been Director of Logistics since joining the Company in 2001. Prior to joining Dedicated, Mr. Connolly held various management positions with FedEx Logistics from 1995 to 2001 and “K” Line America from 1988 to 1995. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science from Hiram College.
Mr. Hartman joined Dedicated in 1993 and is currently the Director of Safety & Human Resources. Prior to joining Dedicated, Mr. Hartman was a Terminal Supervisor at Leaseway from 1986 to 1993. Mr. Hartman began his career at JAX, Inc. in 1982 and has held supervisory positions with J.C. Penny, Inc. and R.L. Polk & Company. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a minor in Computer Science from Baldwin-Wallace College.
Mr. Lam joined Dedicated in 1996. Before joining Dedicated, Mr. Lam worked in the accounting department of A.W. Fenton Company. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Baldwin-Wallace College.
